2022: A Year In Review
This January, we are taking some time to look back at our Distrkt deals over the last year.
Mildred’s - Covent Garden
Vegan cult favourite Mildred’s opened their sixth restaurant in Covent Garden in March 2022.

Third Space - Mayfair
Luxury gym concept opened their newest workout space in Mayfair.
Distrkt acted on behalf of Third Space to acquire this site.
Vinoteca - Borough Yards
In January 2022, Vinotaca opened a new 95 cover wine bar and restaurant at Borough Yards. Vinoteca has a reputation as the ultimate location for wine lovers to discover new and exciting wines from around the world.

Brother Marcus - Borough Yards
Known for their small plates and as one of the best brunch spots in London, Brother Marcus opened in Borough Yards in Spring 2022.

Rambutan - Borough Market
Cynthia Shanmugalingam’s Rambutan, also the name of her debut cookbook, will open in Borough Market in January 2023 and pay homage to the innovations of diaspora cooking as much as ancient Sri Lankan tradition.

The Starman - Heddon Street
Ground control to David Bowie fans: Heddon Street will already be familiar to you as the location for the Ziggy Stardust album photo cover in 1972, which is commemorated by a blue plaque. Now, just a few doors down, the tribute to the musician continues with The Starman, which opened in early July 2022.

Casa Do Frango - Heddon Street
MJMK opened their third Casa Do Frango restaurant on Heddon Street in October 2022. Casa do Frango brings Algarvian cuisine to London, serving Portuguese dishes, food & wine.

Barrafina / Parrillan / Bar Daskal - Borough Yards
Harts Group opened a trio of restaurants at Borough Yards in 2022, all inspired by Spanish cuisine.

Maresco - Soho
Stephen Lironi’s newest restaurant opened in Soho in October 2022, serving fresh scottish seafood and Spanish inspired tapas.

Daroco - Ilona Rose House
French Italian concept Daroco will be opening at Soho Estate’s Ilona Rose House, promising fresh handmade pastas and pizza amongst a Renaissance-inspired design and they'll also have a downstairs cocktail bar.

Bamboo Mat - East Village
Their second restaurant to be opened this year by former Chotto Matte chefs, Denis and Victor, Bamboo Mat brings the quality and vibrant dining experience of the West End to East London.

Wagtail - Monument
Split over two floors, Wagtail includes a restaurant with two private terraces, an elegant fully heated and covered rooftop terrace bar, and an exclusive private dining room in the cupola, crowning the building. Wagtail delivers ultimate 360° views of iconic London landmarks, such as Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard, Gherkin, and the Walkie Talkie Building.

Darjeeling Express - Kingly Court
Asma Khan will be bringing Darjeeling Express back to their roots in Kingly Court, where she opened their first restaurant in 2017. Following a successful string of pop ups over the last few months, this highly anticipated opening will be warmly welcomed by fans of Asma Khan’s world renowned cooking.
